Where Canadians will be travelling in 2015
When it comes to where Canadians are actually going, we turn to American Express's Trending Destinations for 2015 survey, which aggregated data from some 200 American Express Travel Counsellors throughout Canada, the U.S. and Mexico to determine where Canadians will be travelling in 2015. This list features some traditionally popular spots, as well as a few rising stars.

Canadians also expressed increased demand for Australia, and numerous destinations in Asia and Europe including Vietnam, Myanmar, Croatia, Iceland and Italy.
According to the survey, many Canadians plan to spend the same amount of money or more on travel in 2015, and are looking to put the "wow" in their trip by upgrading their hotel and airfare accommodations, in-trip experiences and even by extending the length of their stays. Another popular trend on the rise? Cruise ships. More than half of the counsellers surveyed said they expect to see a rise in cruise bookings this year, noting that river cruises in particular may see a boost.
